New vids up: "Sea Fever" (Slings & Arrows) and "Story in a Nutshell," (Wonderfalls). Both were made early this year but premiered at VividCon in August, and... I just forgot to update this page until now. For more information, check the LJ posts for Sea Fever and Story in a Nutshell.
I have finally begun the process of transferring all my old vid recs over to my delicious account; it's going to take a while, so I've left the current page as it is for now. All new recs, however, will be posted to delicious.
My goal for the coming year is to have something to upload between now and next VividCon. We'll see how that goes.
August 21, 2008
New vid up: "Strength In You," a Gilmore Girls vid. Warning: may exceed your recommended monthly allowance of sweetness. For more information, see the LJ post about it.
In other news: I'm going to attempt to update the recs page sometime soon, for highly unstable values of "soon." So, you know, don't hold your breath or anything.
August 16, 2007
New vid up: "People Get Ready," an ensemble Heroes vid. For more information, see the LJ post about it. Spoilers up to the beginning (but not the end) of the final episode of S1.
August 14, 2007
New vid up: "Nothing New," a Firefly vid about Mal and Inara. For more information, see the LJ post about it.
In other news: I decided some time ago that giving the site a name unrelated to the URL made no sense, and have now changed the name to reflect that decision (although I'm keeping the graphic because I'm lazy like that). I've also updated the musings page with links to some of the more substantial LJ posts I've made about vidding (and other fannish matters) in the past few years.
February 25, 2007
New vid up: "In the Mirror," a due South RayK (and F/K) vid. For more information, see the LJ post about it.

DivX versions of all my Buffy vids are now posted. I haven't decided yet whether I'm going to remaster any of them, so at the moment they've got exactly the same virtues, flaws, and less-than-DVD-quality source that they've had for years, but I figured, hey, I no longer have RealPlayer on my own computer, so I might as well make DivX versions for myself; and as long as I'm making them, I might as well share.
February 8, 2007
DivX versions up: "Come On" and "Superstar," my two Faith vids. Both were remastered a while back, so I haven't made any further changes — just finally got around to exporting higher-quality versions.
November 30, 2006
New remaster up: "Thistledown Tears," my first Firefly vid, now in DivX. I did mess with it a bit in addition to remastering — fixed a couple of glitches that always bothered me and worked in a couple of shots I'd originally wanted to use and then abandoned for various reasons — but it's pretty much the same vid. I'm still really happy with this one, although I freely admit that I have no objectivity about it because OMG MY SHOW.

New remaster up: "Cat-Scan Hist'ry," the Donnie Darko vid I made about two and a half years ago, now available in super-shiny DivX.
Also: I've updated and reorganized the vid recs page; it should be easier, now, to find recs by fandom as well as by vidder. There are quite a few new vids and vidders listed, and I haven't even gotten to most of the VividCon '06 vids yet.
The Farscape vid mentioned in the last update won't be going up for a while; I'm not satisfied with it after all (though I had a great time dancing to it at Club Vivid), so I'll be taking the time to revise it substantially before posting. My apologies for the delay.
And, as the discerning among you may have noticed, I've finally gotten around to finishing the site redesign I've been mumbling about for the past three or four years. The site's become increasingly multifandom (in terms of both vids and recs) over the past few years, and is only going to become more so; I'm hoping the new design will be flexible enough to keep up.
